Our story began in 2016 when founders Mike and Karen Van Rensburg launched Lighthouse Yachting with a clear vision: to offer exceptional yacht brokerage and management services with a personal touch. Their passion for the sea and commitment to quality quickly built a trusted reputation across the Caribbean.

In 2021, Mike and Karen passed the helm to John Hall, a respected island surveyor and long-time collaborator who shared their dedication to excellence. Along with his wife, John took ownership of Lighthouse Yachting, carrying forward its legacy while bringing fresh energy and expertise to the team.

Since then, John’s brother Kris Hall has joined the business, offering project management and Guardinage services. Kris plays a key role in maintaining vessels to the highest standard—ensuring your yacht is secure, spotless, and ready for you to step aboard, whether you're returning for a winter season or heading off for summer.

As a team, we bring decades of hands-on experience. Raised on the water, we spent our youth sailing, fishing, camping, and cruising around the Caribbean—especially enjoying long weekends in Barbuda. We understand the joy of boat ownership, and we’re passionate about helping others find the perfect vessel for their lifestyle and adventures.
