We purchased our first boat through Lighthouse Yachting in 2022. We are Canadians, and

were new to sailing, so we had no idea what to expect with the purchase of a boat in the

Caribbean.

Lighthouse Yachting is a family run business; Natalie, John and Kris are extremely honest,

knowledgeable and thorough. They walked us through every step, making the transaction

seamless. While knowledge of the business is extremely important, what sets Lighthouse

Yachting apart, is their integrity, patience and aftercare.

It can be daunting, making such a large purchase in another country, and essentially

moving there for several months of the year while trying to navigate the regulations,

limitations in supplies and other speed bumps along the way.

Lighthouse assisted us with recommendations for repair services, helped with

documentation and permit extensions, sourced parts for us, and managed repairs when we

were away. Most importantly, they always made time for us, to o􀆯er encouragement when

we realized how little we knew about sailing and boat ownership, in general.

We now use their guardiennage service when we store the boat annually for hurricane

season. When the time comes to upgrade our current boat, we will be trusting Lighthouse

with the sale and purchase of our new boat. We simply can’t say enough about this family

and think ourselves extremely lucky to have found them.
